About myself...

Dr. Chris Hydock is a Richard and Julie Hood Assistant Professor of Marketing at Cal Poly's Orfalea College of Business. In his research, Dr. Hydock uses consumer behavior to inform brand strategy. He focuses on contextual factors that influence consumption decisions; this includes streams of research that examine marketing tactics, marketing research, and brand activism. Prior to his time at Cal Poly, Dr. Hydock as an Assistant Professor of Research at Georgetown University and worked with the Georgetown Institute for Consumer Research; he received his PhD from George Washington University and BA from the University of Colorado.
